What is the maintenance protocol?
There are two maintenance protocols to choose from for your horse:
Standard Maintenance: Maintain with one dose every other week.
Advanced Maintenance: Maintain with one dose weekly.
The advanced protocol is suggested to support horses with increased training, recovery, and performance demands.
Can Summit Joint and Mobility IM for Horses be given more frequently?
Yes, it is safe to administer more frequently if needed. We suggest giving an extra dose twenty four hours before a stressful event such as a competition or traveling long distances.
Are there any negative side effects?
As with any injection, there is a very slight chance of an injection site reaction.
