Ariel Boesener

FEI Dressage Rider, Team CAN

Ariel Boesener
Summit allows my equine athletes to show up mentally and physically prepared for every ride. Summit keeps my horses elastic and fluid in their gaits as well as comfortable in their bodies therefore they're happy in their minds.

Ariel Boesener grew up riding and caring for horses on her parents’ horse farm in Nova Scotia, Canada. Her upbringing fostered a deep connection to animals and made it natural for her to pursue the discipline of dressage. Following a seasonal training schedule, she began traveling to Ocala, Florida for the winters while continuing to train and show in Canada during the summers.

At just 16 years old, Ariel competed in her first international FEI show, proudly representing Team Canada. She has since been consistently active in the FEI youth divisions, including Junior and Young Rider categories, accumulating over 25 international starts.

In 2019, Ariel competed at the FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC), where she earned a 5th place finish in Junior Freestyle and contributed to Team Canada’s 5th place in the team event, riding her Hanoverian gelding, Winniepuuh.

Ariel is known not only for her precision and poise in the ring but also for her commitment to connection-based training—a philosophy focused on trust, communication, and adaptability between horse and rider. She continues to train under top professionals like Franziska Seidl and Isabelle Ouellet, and actively develops future Grand Prix prospects, including her Canadian Warmblood mare Sedona.

Beyond competition, Ariel is passionate about mentorship and rider development, offering clinics, private coaching, and educational workshops throughout both the U.S. and Canada. Her work is shaping a new generation of riders grounded in empathy, feel, and competitive excellence.

With FEI victories, international team experience, and a strong presence in both North American dressage circuits, Ariel Boesener is one of Canada’s most promising young riders—combining elite performance with authentic horsemanship.
