Haley Proctor began trick riding at the age of 4—a toddler with a destiny. She performed in her first show by age 5 and entered PRCA rodeos at just 6 years old. Barely in her teens, Haley toured with the Great American Wild West Show, taking her to some of the most prestigious rodeo arenas in the country. Along the way, she trained with some of the sport’s most legendary trick riders, refining a performance style that blends fearlessness, finesse, and pure entertainment.
In 2007, Haley was crowned World Champion Trick Rider at only 18 years old. Since then, she has been nominated three times as a Top 5 PRCA Dress Act of the Year, and her high-octane performances have graced some of rodeo’s biggest stages—including RFD-TV’s The American, the Pendleton Round-Up, Ellensburg PRCA, and the Xtreme Bulls Finals.
Haley’s range extends beyond the rodeo arena. She competed in the 2016 North American Trick Riding Championships in Las Vegas and took her talents to the big screen, performing stunt work and acting roles in Cowgirls and Angels, Cowgirls and Angels 2, and Dakota’s Summer.
Known for her signature Trick Riding and Roman Riding, Haley brings crowds to their feet with dramatic, high-speed sequences that often include weaving through flames and leaping through rings of fire. Her Roman riding act—standing astride two galloping horses—demands exceptional athleticism and trust between horse and rider.
In addition to performing, Haley travels with her husband, PRCA bull riding champion Shane Proctor, and their daughter Coulee. Despite a packed schedule, she maintains rigorous training for both herself and her equine partners.
As an elite performer, Haley relies on horse joint and mobility supplements to help her horses stay limber, strong, and injury-free through the demands of performance travel and arena conditions. She credits Summit’s equine support products for helping her maintain both performance quality and equine wellness.
With world-class titles, cinematic credits, and a blazing act that leaves no seat empty, Haley Proctor continues to inspire the next generation of cowgirls with grit, fire, and heart.
