Sherry Cervi

4x World Champion Barrel Racer, $3.3M WPRA Career Earnings Leader

Sherry Cervi
I think summit works really well with my supplements that I give my horses to help their overall maintenance they need to keep a competitive edge.

Sherry Cervi is one of the most accomplished barrel racers in rodeo history—a four-time WPRA World Champion and the top-earning female rider in the sport with over $3.5 million in career winnings. Her legacy is defined by consistency, longevity, and an unmatched ability to connect with her horses under pressure.

Raised in a rodeo family in Tucson, Arizona, Sherry began competing at age six and made her first appearance at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) at just 19. She went on to qualify an astounding 19 times, claiming world titles in 1995, 1999, 2010, and 2013. Her racing style is famously smooth, fast, and precise—marked by her ability to shave hundredths of a second off tight corners without ever rattling her horse's rhythm.

Sherry became the first barrel racer to surpass $2 million in WPRA career earnings in 2010, and continued on to become the first to break $3 million in 2016. Her name is etched in record books across the sport, and she was inducted into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in 2018—a fitting tribute to her impact and excellence.

Off the arena floor, Sherry is a mentor, horsewoman, and advocate. She breeds and trains elite barrel horses, sharing her deep knowledge of horsemanship with up-and-coming riders. Through youth rodeos and training clinics, she encourages the next generation to develop not just speed, but trust, feel, and proper care for their equine partners.

With decades of experience, Sherry understands that success starts with soundness—which is why she trusts Summit’s horse joint supplements. The products support mobility, reduce inflammation, and help her horses stay comfortable and competitive through intense schedules and long hauls.

Sherry Cervi doesn’t just win races—she sets the gold standard for horsemanship. And with Summit’s joint care products in her tack room, her horses stay healthy, happy, and ready to run.
